Philosophy

We’re a playground studio — and that matters.

Founded by Zee and Rehan Durrani, Heavy Mask was born to solve one problem. How do we scale engineering alongside AI while keeping human ingenuity, creativity and control at the helm of the process. Our hybrid approach to product building gives founders and visionaries the control they need without missing out on the benefits of AI. (Always steered by craft always backed by metrics).

While data and metrics are where Heavy Mask lives it’s not where inventiveness thrives. Sandboxes and boundaries are great for early productivity but true innovation must encourage structure breaking so that participants can cross existing boundaries unhindered (and without fear).

As a playground studio we connect deeply with the raw values of creating through play (sometimes referred to as exploring for the sake of exploring). Why? because curiosity matters when it comes to growth.

We believe in

— Thinking outside the box.
— Asking a lot of questions
— Pushing boundaries.
— Do more, talk less.
— Just get started.
